As we approach the end of the school term we thought it would be a good idea to upload the final 2 weeks together so you can work through it at your own pace.
The learning includes lots of transition activites for the children to complete as they prepare for Year 5. It would be great if any of the activities completed could be saved and brought into school in September. This will provide a good talking point where the children can share their work and talk about it.
I have kept the maths, english and spelling the same so the children have some continuity with their routine at home.
Also in the files are activity booklets for both maths and english. These are summer themed which may feel less like work and should be able to be completed with little support.
I never believed in March that we would get to this point and not have everyone back at school. Whatever learning you have managed to do at home is amazing. Please don't worry about what may not have been done, we will take care of that in September.
As always, thank you for your support. I am here if you or the children need me.

Week 12 is uploaded. Apologies for no letter last week. This weeks explains why to the children.
Please find this weeks home learning uploaded - Week 11. It is National Cricket Week so you will find lots of themed activties to inspire the children!
Can you tell the children my letter has been delayed as I'm waiting for the event of the year to happen today (Monday)...Yes, Buster is finally having his trim! I will upload the transformation on Monday evening.
It was lovely to chat with some children last week so dont foget to email me if you would like me to call. Many thanks for all your support !

I have uploaded the home learning for this week and tried to put on a range of practical activites. I am aware as time goes by it may be getting more difficult to motivate the children. If you feel a call from me would help to give your child a boost then please drop me an email and we can arrange a mutually convienient time.

I hope you have enjoyed the beautuiful sunshine over 'half term!'
home learning is now uploaded (Week 8) I have tried to make it as easy as possible for you and have included lots of new activites - please take a look!
As always, I'm here if you need me!
This will be our last home learning before half term (Phew!)
I have tried to add lots more enjoyable practical activites as I'm sure the children's enthusiasm is starting to wane!
Thank you so much for all your support and for keeping in touch via email - it really cheers me up! I promise to reply to all emails so if your child hasnt messaged me yet - get typing!
I hope you are all keeping safe.

Apologies if you have sent me photographs this week and they are not on our gallery page. I'm having trouble downloading them. Hopefully I'll have that problem sorted soon!
In files I have added a superb list of free online resources for all subjects. Have a look!
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you and your families are well and staying safe.
I will clear all the extra files on a weekly basis to avoid too many files on the page but will leave the main homelearning pages for all the weeks so far should you need them. If I have cleared any that you need please get in touch and I will email them to you.
You will now find home learning week 4 which I hope you will find a little clearer. These activities are intended to fit in with your new family routine and complete as and when you can!
. The Oxford Owl website has some free e-books that you can access by creating a username and password.
This website is also really good for finding suitable texts for Year 4 children.
If I can help in any way at all please email me and I'll do what I can.
Also, if the children would lke to send me any work they are particularly proud of I will share these on our new home learning gallery page.
Please take care of each other and stay safe.
with my best wishes
