P.E. & School Sports
At Oxton St. Saviour's we use P.E. and sport as a vehicle to build confidence, increase self-esteem and resilience, develop motor skills, acquire knowledge and cultivate positive values and attitudes for the development of an active and healthy lifestyle. We aim to deliver high quality Physical Education lessons that inspire every child to succeed and excel. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate in a range of extra curricular sporting activities which embed our school values, promote an active and healthy lifestyle and develop team work skills in competitive situations.
P.E. & Sports Funding
The PE and sport premium is designed to help primary schools improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils.
A Message from the Sports Ambassadors February 2018
We are very proud of being Sports Ambassadors for Oxton St Saviour’s. Our role throughout the school is to promote sports participation and to encourage active and healthy lifestyles. We do this by promoting the clubs we take part in outside of school and enter competitions to showcase our skills. We also help to organise and lead sporting events. So far this year we have already helped to run a Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 Cross Country event.
We are all passionate about sport, enthusiastic and keen to help promote all children to participate at our school
