Year Two - Poplar 2026 - 2027

Welcome to Poplar Class.

A very warm welcome to our Year 2 Poplar class page. We are committed to creating a happy, nurturing and inspiring environment where every child feels valued, confident and excited to learn.

Through a creative and cross-curricular approach, we make learning meaningful, engaging and enjoyable. Children are encouraged to explore, question, investigate and make connections across their learning through a range of hands-on and enriching experiences.

We have high expectations for every child and encourage them to develop independence, resilience and perseverance. Above all, we want our children to develop a genuine love of learning, celebrate their achievements and feel proud of everything they accomplish throughout their time in Year 2.

Our PE days this year are Thursday and Friday.

We are very excited for the year ahead and we are confident the children will continue to work hard.
