Headteacher
Welcome from the Headteacher
Dear Parents, Carers, and Members of the Oxton St Saviour’s Community,
It has been a wonderful privilege to serve as Headteacher at Oxton St Saviour’s over the past term. I continue to be inspired every day by our amazing children, dedicated staff, and the support of our families and wider community.
This term has been full of joy, achievement, and community spirit. We have celebrated a range of joyous Christmas events, which not only brought smiles to children and families but also raised funds for both our school and St John’s Hospice—demonstrating the generosity and care that make our community so special.
I am proud to share that our school has received positive feedback from external audits conducted by CDAT, the Diocese, and an excellent Health and Safety Audit, reflecting the dedication and hard work of our staff in providing a safe and inspiring environment for every child.
Our children have shone in sporting competitions, achieving some excellent results and showing true teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship. I have also been delighted to see our links with the Church grow even stronger, with children engaging meaningfully in worship and other activities with our chaplain.
Looking ahead, my vision remains for Oxton St Saviour’s to be a place where every child feels confident to achieve their very best, where our Christian values are lived out daily, and where our school continues to be at the heart of the community.
I will continue to work with you to ensure the best possible outcomes for the school. Please do not hesitate to contact me via the school office if you have any questions, ideas, or simply wish to say hello.
Thank you for your continued support—I am very much looking forward to the rest of the school year, building on this term’s successes and sharing many more achievements with you all.
Warm regards,
Mrs Grant-Jones
