Class: Year Five - Maple Year: 2022 - 2023

Mrs Stewart and Mr Heard are currently doing some work with LJMU, looking at different ways to link the science curriculum with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. A few of the Year 5 children learnt how a battery works and then used a range of fruit and vegetable 'batteries' to explore which would be best at powering a light bulb.
